Today is launch day!
We have started the liquid helium disconnect!
Here are some pictures from the hot pad. In the left photo, the rocket is
between the wind screen tents and behind the plastic covering. We need to
protect the fairing door openings from the dust blowing in the wind. In the
second photo, the rocket is behind the helium dewars. The third photo shows
the L-1011, but the rocket is hidden behind a helium tube truck and the
stairs. The last photo shows the cryostat GSE trailer.
Here's a group photo at the hot pad on February 26th. On the right is one
of the Pegasus fairing doors with signatures from the team.
