The instrument thermal simulator, instrument harness, WIRE
instrument electronics (WIE), and the pyro box were installed this
week. The thermal simulator looks very much like the flight
cryostat. The instrument flight harness is blanketed and these
pictures show some of the installation. Dave Cramer is in the first
picture. Gary Cooper is in the second. The third picture shows Tom
Luchik observing Gary. In the fourth picture, Dave and Giulio discuss
a tricky part of the harness routing. Gary works the harness near the
WIE box in the fifth picture. The last picture shows the pyro box
electrical integration.
Here are some of the flight solar array modules. They are set up
for flash testing.
Next week we will prepare for the end-to-end test.
